04 Aug 2008 You're paying for a code. It seems like such a waste. This card has a code on it that you enter when you purchase games or channels on the Wii shop channel. Once you use the code the card is just junk. If only there was a way to reload points onto the card.
I prefer using this card as opposed to using my credit card because I don't have to wait for the transaction to clear on my account. As for buying these cards online, I understand that it is cheaper but what doesn't make sense is why they send you a card instea... –C.D.M.from Amazon.com
02 Jul 2008 A title for your review (hee hee...) First off, in response to the "One Star Ratings", who say that this is not worth it because the shipping puts it over $20:

That statement only holds water when this product is purchased alone. With purchases of several items, eventually you'll get free shipping.

I love the virtual console. I think it is a very good idea to allow people to buy classic games without the hassle of buying ancient consoles and such.

23 Apr 2008 Card has not use unless you wanna give it to someone for a gift... If you own a Wii then there really isn't a point to buying this card at a retail store when you can online unless you feel like paying in cash. I do think Nintendo is charging to much for points seeing as these games are about ten years old but some are worth it. I'd recommend buying atleast two of these cards off of Amazon.com because the shipping's free if you order atleast two and you won't have to spend and extra 3 or more dollars on tax depending on where you live. –William Gudelskyfrom Amazon.com
