13 May 2009 Works good, but tough on batteries. Originally bought this as a replacement for the wired sensor bar that came with the Wii (original got broken). At full charge, this thing works great, but performance decreases as it rapidly sucks down batteries.

It seems like this thing goes through batteries as fast as my family goes through a gallon of milk. Ideally, to have this working at any given moment would be to have 8 dedicated rechargeable AA batteries, but that would cost more than the bar itself.
