Terrible mat!
I definitely have to agree with the previous reviewer. I bought two of these pads brand new, and they are just awful. First off, both my wife and I are above average at DDR. We have no problems with most expert level songs. We went from the $20 soft "rollup" mats to these, expecting to see a noticeable improvement in performance. Not so. What we saw was a huge DROP in performance. The cheap mats are much better than these, at a fraction of the cost. These are no where near arcade quality ...

Try it before you buy it...
Ok, we bought one of these DDR pads... I got one for my wife, the most expensive and supposedly "best" one money can buy.. the all metal "championship" model after our $99 plastic pad died (it lasted over a year with tons of use). While intially the metal pad seemed to work ok, we started "missing" steps to songs that we could easily ace before. I'd pick "Game of Love", like, the easiest, simplest one, and suddenly I'm totally "missing" steps when the rhythm picks up. You have to hit the pad inc...
