works in linux, nonstandard key placement
I had no significant problems getting this keyboard to work in linux. However, once it was working I found that it had one major flaw: unlike all standard 104 keyboards, this one placed the "\" key between "'" and "enter". As a result, this puts the enter key an extra standard key length past where it should be, and makes hitting enter quite aggrevating for an experienced touch typist such as myself. This keyboard had poor instructions. Once we finally got it to work, three of the keys kept repeating as if we were pressing them down. We must return this defective product.
