Great Except For ...
I bought this game as a Christmas present for my son. He enjoys it very much. But he wants to purchase the NHL '09 game because he says with that, you have a "career mode" where you can work yourself up from a rookie.

Excellent Game
This is an excellent hockey game. I would have given this five stars but I do have some complaints about this game. The first one I have about this game, is the commentators. They have no enthusiasm are just so boring to listen to. With music from The Ramones, The Offspring, Mastodon, NOFX, Pennywise, Bad Religion, Operation Ivy, Inner Circle, and High on Fire. A sloppy effort that manages to deliver some decent gameplay
I bought this title on impulse because I love hockey and the price was right, myself having yet to purchase a next-gen console. Although a decent hockey experience, even with low expectations the game managed to disappoint me.
