Great game - Amazing graphics, details and playability
MLB The Show lived up to my expectations and then some, but there is a bit of a learning curve, especially in regards to hitting. If you think you're a big shot like I did and start on Veteran with the sliders on default, you will likely grow frustrated with the game. Not until I swallowed my pride and lowered the pitch speed slider and went to Rookie mode was I able to actually hit the ball, score runs and win. Absolutely terrible
Seriously, this game is just terrible. I love hard games, don't get me wrong, but batting and pitching in this game are completely unreal. If you throw one bad ball, it is impossible to recover because your pitcher just gets upset and pitches worse; moreover, the strike-zone is just terrible as well. A pitch can literally be down the middle and be called a ball, and vice versa. The batting was created equally as bad, if not worse. Sure, I don't expect to get on base every single time, but w...
