Guilty Gear X2
One of the funnest, best fighting games I've ever played. I'm a big fan of the fighting genre, grew up on Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, later on I grew to love the King of Fighters series. Guilty Gear X2 stands with them all, but there is a learning curve because the fighting system is advanced and oh so dope. That's not to say you can't just pick it up and start throwing down. I bought this for my 360 because it's one of the backwards compatible games and it's incredible.

Great game if you always wanted to fight online, but....
...well I thought it was only okay otherwise. The fighting modes, music and artwork were all well done. However other than the online capability, nothing really stood out to me as fantastic which is way I only gave it three stars in the end for "average".
The characters were a little weird sometimes like the doctor with a paper bag over his head, the haunted dude with hearts on his cloths, the guy who fights with fans... but I kind of expected that (the crossdressing british boy who sounds, ...

Proof that 2D fighting is alive and kicking
Ah, the 2D fighter. I prefer them over 3D fighters, myself. But most don't. And if you looked at sale figures, you can see that for yourself. It's a fact. That's why you don't see many 2D fighters being made nowadays. But thankfully, Sammy made Guilty Gear anyways. And it is good. Hurrah.
