03 Jan 2009 Not all it's cracked up to be The clear layer of the face plate is quite thick and bulky, and not the easiest to remove from the dark grey faceplate. The paper isn't glossy, but the fact that the plastic is, makes it more difficult to see the designs than it should be.

The paper itself is thick, and has slotted cuts everywhere so that it can mold to the shape of the faceplate, the pieces removed for all of the different slots are oversized and a good deal of the grey faceplate will show through.

02 Apr 2008 Unlimited customization I have to say i LOVE this product. I purchased it for $10 at TOYS 'R' US and i got MORE than my moneys worth of it. I started with just the inserts that came with it. I eventually went to the Nyko website and found that there is a community on there for exchanging custom made displays for free. I have since then started making my own.

04 Aug 2007 What's wrong with it? It serves me well. I don't write these reviews often, but I had to offset the negativity surrounding this product. What do you people expect?

I don't think Nick "Master Modder" even bought one of these. He doesn't seem to understand what the product is. (...He shouldn't have even written that review.)
If P. Hoppes "Rhino" wanted a chrome faceplate, he should have bought a damn chrome faceplate. They do sell them and they're usually cheaper. His complaint was irrelevant.
