Fun for the family
I purchased this item for my daughter's 9th birthday. It was apparently easy to set up because she and my 11 year old son set it up themselves. She's had a good time making her character (and one for everyone in the family), but more importantly, she's had a great time playing the game. I've played it too and find it pretty fun. My only complaint is that it is kind of easy to get "off mat", which led to frustration for my daughter until she figured out what was happening (she'd be aiming for...

Sure, its not the most original game.. or have very good graphics.. and the gameplay is very basic..

Our twin 9 year old girls received this game for Xmas and have been dancing their hearts out ever since - we've basically lost them to the game! The graphics are pretty good, the game play has good level differentiation (easier then getting harder) and the music is obviously right up their alley. Overall a great game for this age group.
