How the heck do you hit the ball?
OK, I figured out the tennis game and enjoy it. The bowling is easy enough. but this baseball game is frustrating my 21 year old sports-loving and playing son and myself. I have tried to "train" on the homerun derby and the best score I've gotten is a total of 6 homeruns out of 40 pitches. But most of the time I get 2 homeruns out of 40 pitches. I've changed the angle of the port, changed my location left and right, close and far (within the 8 feet recommended). I've changed my timing to before,...

If you love baseball and your "jozin" cause the season is over...this game is for YOU!!! YOU HAVE YOUR OWN BALL GAME IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR LIVING ROOM!!!! It is a total blast and is not like your standard "sit on the couch and push buttons" game. You are up and in on the action! MY husband is playing this game as I'm writting this review and keeps sayin' "DID YA SEE THAT?" He's having a BLAST!!! I've played it with him and I must agree it is WAY MUCH FUN!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME!!!

Just so great!!
Just like the bowling unit this Xavix game is terrific! The onscreen stadium and ball field are wonderful. The players against you are well animated and realistic as are the players that run the field. I took the bat first and my husband pitched. Yes, you pitch and bat just like a real game, except that the pitcher can program the ball to do some very fancy throwing. It is great fun. With this game reading the manual is important as you can program your ball for pitching and it is easy to strike...
