great item!
i don't know what the people that rated it 1 star is thinking. but this item is fantastic! it may have some flaws, but its still an awesome accessorie! this can reach up to about a mile and a half! (with all the trees and stuff) it's awesome. sometimes it gets a little aggravating when your typing because it takes forever to type. but i think this is much easier than a walkie talkie, and it's a must have! have fun!

Not very good.
This is not a very good item. First the problem is the range. It might work well out in the country, but my girlfriend and I weren't able to keep signal with each other on the same university campus (and we were only halfway across campus, about a quarter mile away, she was in a building). It also worked less than a quarter mile away from our apartment. Range is disappointing.
