About StreetPrices
Founded by entrepreneur Stephen Heise, StreetPrices is a price comparison shopping search engine with an emphasis in consumer electronics and computer parts. We search out the lowest prices online, finding the best deals so you don't have to.
StreetPrices was developed in Hilo, Hawaii, and may be the only internet company to have been developed largely off-grid.
Now located in Santa Clara, CA, we track prices on millions of products online, and we still have a fondness for solar power.
From the beginning, we have focused on technological innovation, so you have the tools you need to get the best price on every purchase. We were the first site to offer price alerts and price graphs, and continue to offer useful tools you won't find anywhere else.
StreetPrices' features include a "search by specs" tool, price graphs, and verified price alerts, as well as a wide range of personalization tools. You can save your favorite cameras, keep track of birthday ideas for your sweetheart, or get an alert when the DVD you've been pining for reaches your buying price.
The site compares prices in four countries (the US, UK, Ireland, and Canada), and covers a wide variety of products, from cameras to TVs to tools to toys. We've helped millions of people shop with confidence, so they can buy knowing they got the best deal.
